The mouthguard offers full protective cover of the upper bracket with its trademarked BRACE HARBOUR, but it also integrates LOWERBLOK which helps to protect the lips and inner cheek against the lower bracket (if the wearer has one).

Fluid Fit™: Gum shields can be uncomfortable and bulky, especially when worn with braces! With our self-fit mouthguards (Boil and Bite), we have engineered a specific grade of EVA that when heated becomes pliable enough to fill the contours of the mouth but hardens when cooled again to offer ample protection. It ensures the mouthguard fits like a glove and feels comfortable and unobtrusive when worn. Just what an athlete needs!

Jaw Secure™: A pre-occluded (contoured) base that allows the bottom teeth to fit into the base of the mouthguard. This offers much more jaw stability.

Remodel Tech™: Didn't get the perfect fit first time? Don't worry! RemodelTech allows you to repeat the fitting process multiple times until you're happy.

How to fit your SAFEJAWZ self-fit mouthguard

This guide provides guidance on how to fit your SAFEJAWZ Intro-Series, Extro-Series or Ortho-Series Mouthguard. 

You will need:

• A Kettle
• A Bowl
• A Mirror
• Cold running water
• A Spoon

1. Boil the kettle and pour the hot water into a bowl.
2. Immediately place the mouthguard into the hot water for 30 seconds. If before the 30 seconds is finished the mouthguard begins to shrink, remove immediately and continue to the next step.
3. Carefully remove the mouthguard from the hot water with the spoon.
4. Lick your lips and carefully place the mouthguard into your mouth.
5. Watching in the mirror, line the mouthguard up with the centreline of your upper teeth and bite down gently on the mouthguard, closing your lips over the mouthguard. Be careful not to bite through the mouthguard.
6. Suck the mouthguard while using your fingers on the outside of your lips to gently press it into your teeth and gum line. Do this for 30 seconds.
7. Remove the mouthguard and place under cold, running water for 30 seconds.
8. Place back in the mouth and test for a tight fit.

If the fit isn’t perfect, repeat the whole process again.
